How much truth is there to the talk of new teams entering in the Future? How far away are we from this happening if so? Would be great to have a Dutch team for next year

Bruce said on Speedbox that a Dutch team was possible within a year or two, so possibly not next year but in 2013 perhaps.
Or
Bruce zei over speedbox dat een Nederlandse ploeg mogelijk was binnen een jaar of twee, dus misschien niet volgend jaar maar in 2013 misschien.

could there be an ausie team put together? From a bunch of other classes? Would be cheaper to get them here and might provide some trans-Tasman rivalry...

Wouldn't there be enough competitors in the stockrod (is that what they are called?) class? the cars look like a mix of nz and uk stockcars. the aussie vs NZ thing would be good fir the sport.

Get Paul Morris involved - he seems to like the push'n'shove and wouldn't appear to have any issue with sticking someone into the wall!

Whats happening there Mr MadMarty? ive heard rumours that they were trying to get a team for this year, but with only 3 supers it was always a long shot. ive also heard that baypark are looking at adding supers back to thier program for next season so they could also have a team for next season. it looks like there will soon be 15 or 16 teams or possibly more, would make for a much more interesting weekend

I would like to see 12 strong teams, with the four pool format. Points only to be used where all three teams from a pool win one race each. Top two teams from each pool progress to night wo.
Personally don't think having more than 12 teams would add to the event. 12 strong teams would make for a great event. One feels that any new teams added will only be as replacements for current teams falling by the wayside, such as the attrition evidenced to date.
Regardless, it would be great to see 12 teams for 2012, and then work on having 12 strong teams thereafter, once the 12 team format is viable again.

Believe it or not there were Auckland Superstock drivers doing all they could to front a team for the event this year. I believe they were 1 driver short & things just didn't pan out if I get out for the start of next season as planned & manage to get a handle on the car, and a "large" spares package together ;D then Auckland Allstars will be there for sure. it would be even better if some of the Auckland guys signed with an A on the car for next season and then they could have a selection process.

Agreed; a few of the current 11 struggled for numbers and needed help this year, leaving the chance they may not all be back in 2012 (plus we've recently lost Otago and both Wanga's and Auckland have missed a year each in the past two).
