Hi thought id let the people of macgors know that tomorrow from 11am till 5pm nitro circus will be in Wanganui filming for the TV show. they will be at the jetsprint track as Travis wants to take one for a fling. 40 of their crew and staff will be attending. there will be a signing session and should be a few stunts performed by the first time jetsprint pilots.
The Chronicle don't seem interested in letting people know but I thought some of the motorsport people on here should know.
Its a pity its on friday. but still a chance to see them have some fun.
Peter Huijs Quad Rotor Turbo jetsprint boat will be there fresh from its first round win in gisborne last weekend.

Thanks for the update Escort - went to Nitro last night, and what an amazing show - went to Crusty Demons the year before, and dont think they had a patch on these guys, with the stunts, interaction with the crowd etc.
The front flip by the dude in the wheel chair down the mega ramp was epic - first time landing apparently.
And the back flip double tail whip over the 60 ft gap was crazy. NOt to mention the double back by the current x games best trick gold medalist.
Great night - travis and the crew hung aroudn for autographs for ages, was great to see.
Hopefully they dont barrel roll the quad rota - will be great to see when it makes the air. hopefully someone tells them about the stockcars, be great to streetbike tommy be able to give some back to the rest of the boys.
Oh, and can;t forget the dueling banjos - and the backflipping Big wheeled trike - special greg ate it.
Awesome night, if it was on again I'd be back.

Haha thanks G-daddy.
I saw a couple of HB stockcar drivers there, they reckon i should bring the car back to the bay to really learn how to roll...i reckon i've got the rolling down, but they can probably teach me a a thing or two on the bending side of it haha.

If I get a chance I will mention Superstocks to them. If they where interested, there is a very unique opportunity for who's ever car they would lease or borrow to maybe get redbull sponsorship. I will report back friday night.
(redbull or maybe subaru or one of travis's other sponsors) you would have to be on the ball to do this though.

Im sure Travis would love too but with now having a contract to race nascar ect.. means he has to give up doing the dangerous stuff like double backflips ect.. and maybe this filming is for the movie as there isnt another tv series plained at this stage..
yeah pity they couldnt of gotten them to the teams champs to do it justice ad imagie the media it would of provided
but yeah was outstanding last night too

They could race sprint cars anywhere. they want excitment. so Superstocks would be the ticket.

i reckon give trav, andy bell, tommy, jolene and jim dechamp all a stockcar and let them learn and then at the end of the night se ehow they go at teams racing

what a day! saw a jetsprint boat jump into the pits from the track. which wasn't suposed to happen!
met all the crew from Nitro Circus! very layed back guys and girls! Street bike tommy tried to go around the track with the reverse bucket down on the boat with spectaular results. crashing into the fence on the first turn.
He never finished a run.
Travis and a few others also had drives, jolene had the fastest timed run.
Travis beached the superboat he tried to drive.
Jo crashed into the bank in the finish pool. which will make the onboard camera footage pretty good.
The crew loved Peter Huijs Rotor boat some of the reactions are priceless!
Peter took me for a ride and I can't believe how fast it was. I couldn't drive it. I couldn't even tell where I was. it was amazing!
I got some great photos and footage as well!
