I just saw on the news a item about a australian bike gang which are getting more NZ members. the gang is called the Rebels and there patch includes the rebel flag.
How big would the gang have to be in NZ before a branding change was needed for the rotorua superstock team? Or does it not need to change?
Thoughts?

Perhaps nz speedway supporters need to send a 'stuff off' message to the aussie gang.
We could pay their pad a visit next year at Palmy . Should imagine 10,000 speedway people might be able to make them understand the message.

Rotorua Rebels superstock team has been in NZ alot longer than the Rebel motorbike gang as far as im aware??
Noway should they change their name!
Our Rebels are the men and that name has alot of history behind it..

instead of car off the week we could have the monster truck out in the middle of the track line the bikes up and let the monster truck go for it . the crowd would love and im sure the reble gang would to tell after the meeting when they go back to hop on there bikes ;D ;D ;D ;D

Think the answer was something along the lines of - don't argue with the likes of the Ramjammer! ;D
In a funny sort of way the media coverage of the Rebels gang raises the profile of the Rotorua Rebels brand!

Seriously tho, is this gang coming here going to cause any grief for any Rotorua supporters walking down the street in Palmy or Rotorua?
The last thing we need is some munters putting the hard word on some Innocent Stockcar supporter about having the rebels flag flying.
