They don't have Origami saloons in the Naki (Read 5,497 times)

I had an enjoyable weekend at the NZ Under 23 Stockcar Champs in Stratford and took quite a few photo's.
I liked the saloon racing and was glad to see that they don't have those ugly Origami late model "cars" in the 'Naki, they were all cool real cars. Good on ya Naki saloon people.
Here's a couple that caught my eye, I'll post more tonight after I've finished my chores.

Dave Hinton had a good win in the race I watched, the big Ford sounded mean as, just wish it was much, much louder haha

Up till now I haven't had much time to follow saloon racing, so I haven't seen many cars.
I'd very much like to see some pics of your favorite cool saloons from around the country, but not wedgey origami ones thanks.

Are there any Camaro body saloons in NZ?

There are a few Camaro's around. Was one there on Saturday - 88s. You can just see it in one of the photos.

This place called Smash Palace Panel & Paint in Palmy could make these cars even cooler with a bit of paint. They're speedway sponsors & muscle car people.
