It's been bugging me for years that I make the effort to vote, and my vote gets swallowed up in the system that is useless, and end result doesn't show the true wishes of the majority of drivers.
Is it time for a change?

One of my favourite subjects - a big resounding YES!!!
The "leave it as it is" option would rank #3 of those 3 options. Proportional representation would/could be virtually the same as 1 driver/1 vote, depending on exactly how it was structured, but we certainly need CHANGE!!

There are definately pros and cons for and against all systems of voting.

There are definately pros and cons for and against all systems of voting. So, other than vested interest groups can rig it, what are the pro's of the current system?!

Maybe I should have chosen my words slightly more carefully. I guess it depends which side of the fence one looks from though doesn't it. If you were one of those groups that had a vested interest....well, there's a pro....

Exactly, and that's why it will be difficult to overcome...
Vested interests will want it to stay, so they can pressure small tracks to veto it - as they also will lose the disproportionate power they currently wield...
Difficult one.
Besides (haven't checked the remits again Tim!) - if its not already in a remit, it can't be voted on at this AGM, so its 30 months away before it can even get a vote.
