Does anyone know where this car is now? The history of it? and any pics? It was a few seasons back that I remember it racing as 37G? I remember it doing a huge roll on the start finish line straight at meeanee?

Hi there last time I saw that car was at the 2009 NZ Standard Stock Champs in Wellington & it was being raced by Warren Galbraith of Christchurch with the number 8C. Hope that is of help.

The flat coupe Ricky Kuru bought off Blair Ireland was bent pretty good. He built a copy, then bent it in a bigway at the Huntly teams - I'm sure there is footage on youtube of this hit somewhere in the huntly teams videos that were on here. He repaired it, and then onsold. This is the car above, that still looks pretty sharp.
The one above has a taller rollcage than the original BLair Ireland car. That car features on teh Peter Rees DVD, where at that stage I think Pete mentioned it as the biggest hit he had taken, which had caused a heap of damage.

If i can remember rite the blue coupe is 8c (ex chris ash car) and the orange coupe did go up north for a while and had a 3 digit number 2??WH but not sure where it is now.
if you look at the front shock towers they are a little differnt from each other.

Yeah it is the same original chassis I purchased it off Rick Kuru and sold to Warren. Awesome car I just had crap luck everytime I drove it. Handled awesome for a flatty but was a real bone shaker on the body just ask most of the guys who have driven it. I think the copy went to Wellington as a chassis if my memory serves me corectly.

Good to hear. Strong little beasty that thing. The few drives I had in it I liked it to. Good luck on the upcoming season.
