[quote author=david1nz board=general thread=23864 post=267569 time some guy no stockcar racer wants to take out during a championship: oops if u do u get excluded Totally agree Petrolfumes. What's more what does this guy have over all the other P cars that they look after mr Rees so much. When are we going to see mr Rees help some one else over the line. Must have some thing over them. Just my 10 cents worth.

The P Gaskin v P Rees round 3 would have been a cracker Mind boggling P Gaskins exclusion from the final race .

Its odd because in the final race scooter (24w I think) was taken into the infield by Jordan Dare (581p) but didnt disengaged, he stayed beside him on the grass and came back on the track next to him on the inside which gave him the advantage to get in front and block him. Now it wasnt the only attack that he received but it would have made a difference.
Now after all the strict calls ive heard that have been made regarding illegal cars and the sort I thought officials were taking a no favourites no BS line so why such different rulings?

Its called teamwork , jordan dare was well and truly held up , so rees only option was to run for the flag as he was right up there on points . Had rees not been in the running i rekon he would have used the bumper . A classy driver without a doubt , was running out front and two cars had slowed and were waiting , rees managed to fire both into the concrete and carry on to win.

Wasn't is funny, Scooter's hit to remove Dare from the points chase effectively gace the title to his "mate" Peter Rees ;D

Congrats to Regan O'Brien. 3NZ! Finally a HB driver in the Stockcar results. Now if we could just get our Superstock drivers to race under 'B' and get a result like the good old days of Warner and B.Penn!

Not really , especially when Gaskin has to resort to illegal tactics to try take Rees out . He deserved to be put out of the competition. Made Rees look the better of the two.
That illegal shot put Rees back quite a few places , but full credit for Rees to come back and out on top.Shows how good he really is.

Well from people sitting on that corner(with a lot of speedway experience), the hit was legal. Not the first time for refs and flag marshalls to get it wrong. It's done now anyway.

Stop attacking Paul Gaskin! Sounds to me like a mistake from the marshalls.... wouldn't be the first or last time. Paul is NOT a dirty racer. If anything, he's been on the receiving end of dirty tactics, he'd be the last to resort to them.
