hemi is the 6th driver Yep; from the man himself via Facebook: Unfortunately the Panthers are running without Wayne Hemi this season as with these mechanically issues the selectors decided they’re better to run "race proven" cars which I have to agree so I’m there 6th driver this weekend!

So; Joblin, Rees, Bengston, Penn and Miers. But which Miers; S or J? Or is Penn staying retired, and both Miers running? VERY interesting...

Easy - I think the panthers are a little more predictable this year; Penn will be running for the panthers again. Scott Joblin will be a runner. Scotty Miers will drive a tank but will compete in the 'soft' races (like in recent years) seeing as he has become a little soft himself (lots of big hits to the body in recent years) and will be the main 'reserve' guy. When he does race he'll be the runner. That leaves Rees and Bengston to do the business as the blockers. That's my prediction anyway!!

Scott Joblin can use his bumper if need b..Look at the final NZ heat he did more hitting 2 help his brother than rees & bengsten put together.Jack needs a few more years at the seat be4 teams racing as it showed in that final heat.Awesome driver just needs more seat time.

I agree Scott was using plenty of bumper alright. Rees has been unusually quiet in the last two major events World 240s & N.Zs??
