will there be any hummers racing this year? ;D the last time i saw stockcars in palmy they showed the big boys up with twice as much action!! historics would be good to see, before the meeting, and perhaps 1 run during. so i vote superstocks, stockcars and historics. epic!!

Personally I'd like to see either super saloons or saloons and streetstocks. Never seen any of those run at palmy before (I'm from wellington and only go up for teams champs when the bank account allows me to)

Thank you Pallmall yes the historic and golden oldies are completly different for those of you who dont know the Golden Oldies are Classic stockcars from the 60s & 70s they are flat chassis. We will be on display on the Saturday night and racing Sunday night,we run under streetstock rules. Ngaire Nowell

Historics but good ones like 'famous' stockcars maybe classic stockcars would be better. Modifieds cause they were good when they were here late last years, Sidecars cause they seem to produce good racing and well ministocks so I can go for a whizz and top up at the bar

I don't know which night but I have heard that the modifieds are racing. Well there's only EVER teams racing on the first night, so if they are it's gonna be the Sunday.

thats unusual as they have always had more classes running than that, and usually with some sort of manawatu champs.

thats unusual as they have always had more classes running than that, and usually with some sort of manawatu champs. Not since the format changed a few years ago Busterbell; there used to be just four teams races on night two (semi's, 3rd/4th and final) so the programme was a bit thin. Now you've got seven teams races, plus consolation races for the four teams that don't qualify and local cars. It makes for a pretty full night. And with NINETEEN superstock teams races over the two nights, the poor old ticker can only handle so much action ;D

Sounds like there will be a few non-teams cars there on Sunday night. Malcolm Ngatai is planning on being there, as is Wayne Hemi. There should be some good action.
