I am of the opinion that support classes should be contact. Have been there when saloons etc have been support they just don't do it for me and by comments around me not for many others either. Stockcars or even a couple of stockcar teams races would be great. Could easily get hb, wanganui, and maybe two from Palmy. Knockout winner advances to final or similar.

They could always move the Stockcar Teams Invasion from November to the Teams champs as a support class

Geez you guys are hard to please..!!!!..
All that Teams racing on night one followed up by the intensity of the semis and finals racing on night two.....
The historics are a great foil in between the racing on night 2. It gives us a chance to chill a little and reflect on how the sport has changed over the years.
IMHO the historics are an excellent choice.

Saw the 859p in the pits last night, does that mean Wade will be coming down to do the consolation races tonight?

You'd be talking about the red car with 4 separate pipes each side exiting upwards I'm picking

The tank was also loud. I wonder if they will have problems in future finding places to race due to decibel limits?
Good to see Brian Booker mixing it up a bit :-)

The Golden Oldies were great. For those of us who are old enough to remember some of the cars when they first raced, it was a real trip down memory lane. and the standard to which those cars have been restored is a credit to all concerned. I hope they become a regular fixture at Teams Champs.
