Im going to say 2nz Luke Keegan 2nd At the NZ champs 1st At the South Island Champs 1st At the West Coast Champs 1st At The Canterbury Champs 1 Race win at Ruapuna 3 Race wins at Greymouth 3 Race wins at Wellington 7 Race wins at Woodford Glen 1 Runoff Win at Woodford Glen
That is why I voted for Luke Keegan. Luke is in form and this season is the season that makes everbody know that Luke is one of the best modified drivers in tbe country and he will only get better
And he still has the Dirt Cup coming up in a couple of weeks, than the NZ Grand Prix which he has won the previous 2 years and he also has the Modified Invasion which he has also won the last 2 years

Modesty will forbid Jamo commenting (and Foxy himself wouldn't know how to turn a computer on) but the 11A record so far this season is something like this............. - Won every race at Waikaraka that he started in except for about 3
- 1st Auckland Champs
- 1st BOP Champs
- 1st 30 lapper Whangarei
- Top qualifier in the heats at NZ Champs (I think)
There's a lot in the North Island still to be contested, but not bad so far.

What Crumpie said,
Foxy has been electric all season, but fell short at the NZ's, yet he wont lose any sleep over it. Let's have great attendance at the dirt cup, grand prix and then this poll can be proven right or wrong.

Tend to agree with Hoony. There has only been 1 event that has attracted all the top guys so far this season so hard to make a call yet.
SI has been the Glen and Luke show for a fair while and with Glen not running until recently Luke has been able to dominate down there.
Bunter won the big one and has been flying all year and now by the looks of it Jacko and Dicko are starting to step up again as well.
Foxy has looked good on occasions this year and we have won a few minor events but we haven't really been running with the big guns on a regular basis to see where we fit.
The next 3 weeks should throw some light on things with the North Islands this week in Stratty followed next week by the Dirt Cup and then the NZGP.
Hopefully Luke gets his engine gremlins sorted and is able to front at the Dirt Cup as a showdown between all the guys I have mentioned should take place at Waikaraka on the 17th. If the club do the business on the track surface we should see more new lap records like we have in the last few outings in all classes.

Its a Pity Mike Gourley has only run one meeting as he pushed luke very hard at the canterbury champs (1st= on points which caused the run off) and as that was his first meeting im sure he would have been in the top 3 of most of the results for most meetings this year, and after all he holds the lap records at 2 tracks in the north island.
and also its a pity glen has not been seen much this season but he and luke were a step above all of the rest on the track, apart from dan.
cant wait for next season to see the new 4c on the track

Luke is nothing short of spectacular at the glen, the couple of nights leech was there was very impressive. Those two have the track and their cars absoutely perfected. Actually suprised lap record hasnt been taken in the last couple of modified meetings

Based purely on a results basis seems the mainlanders are right. Luke is the dominant mod driver in the country this year given his result on Saturday.
There is one last meeting this season where these guys all meet and that is the Invitation meeting at Baypark on March 31st. Bunter may head into this meeting with a slight edge as I am pretty sure he has raced there before in a super saloon?? Neither Luke or Foxy have run there but Luke will have his wily old man with him and Greg has raced there and will know what works and what doesn't.

Now all meeting are done and dusted where these guys run against each other the voting means something.
Wonder if it will change or have recent results only made it more cloudy! ;D

The only time Fox, Pierce and Keegan have all met in the one race/series since the NZ's was at Baypark on Saturday. Foxy and Bunter started off the front row, Luke had to give them both a start and although he just about caught Bunter, he didn't look like getting anywhere near Foxy.
Does that influence anyone's final decision?
