It was better than no coverage and a pretty good price to I thought. My coverage was very stop start so is my internet provider no good? I'm on slingshot I did't seem to have problems with speedbox being stop start but I wouldn't have a clue if it's even broadcast th same way. No it's not, as I understand it. Other than out of the extremely advanced Arena Manawatu, Speedbox broadcasts via a satellite dish. This was broadcast via Auckland's broadband system, so I'm kinda surprised it was even as good as it appears it was. |

Perhaps they were dropping connection/rebooting now and then although I only had 3 or 4 short outages over the whole evening once the racing started. The outages were well timed though so missed nothing of value. Probably a mix of issues and the reason some had more problems than others. |

Think that sums it up well, my connection is pretty top notch and i still had a few freezes and stop starts. The sound is what really annoyed me more than anything, i had to play with the surround settings to minimise the static coming through with the commentary. As for the music, commentary cutting into the Rock FM, thats pretty much a given at WP they always do it.. no suprises for me. Overall for live stream $13 or so bucks pretty good i reakon, had the computer HD linked upto the big screen, quality wasnt perfect but for a 1 camera live internet stream... not bad  |

There may be tomorrow night. ;D Bring Back Aaron Shirts - WOW pallmall are you going to wear one? Who was the broadcasting team? So many people available its hard to get this wrong for their "Bigest Night of the Year" I was there for 5 1/2 Seasons and loved the teams, the best part of the show was roving in the crowd and getting the antics of the fans who at a teams meeting is great just look at the noise that comes from the back straightaway..... I think the best teams Commentry was a Points Man and Grids Man, this is one in the same with a comments person and assoicate caller and then the ring leader who put all three together, I enjoyed my time at WP and Stockcar Racing can be "called" from anywhere thats my breif overview... I think we will get a banner made for the back straight fence AD |

Bruce or the live feed organizers should bring the guy up from palmy who does the camera work for the big screen. He catch's most of the action and knows how to follow a teams race. Also has an insight to who the big hitters are.You can t beat experience!
