Yes, was a good crowd, best I have seen for the Friday night for a few seasons, but not like 10-15 years or so ago. Completely puzzled on the Tigers loss, they thought they won, the crowd thought they won. Must have had a nap and missed something. It wasn't like Wanganui were even in the same race really.

Sometimes the race is not always won on the track....was there a protest or was there a ruling made by the officials that affected the outcome of the race....

Sometimes the race is not always won on the track....was there a protest or was there a ruling made by the officials that affected the outcome of the race.... Well if it was won OFF the track, the V car would not have carried the flag. Nelson arrived on-masse to collect it and were sent away. Pallmall suggested maybe ha had a nana nap and missed something. I admit I thought it was so much of a foregone conclusion - a matter of when and not if - I just watched the action unfold and didn't really follow the leader(s), but was certainly still surprised when the white unfolded on a non-orange car......

How do the consolations work tonight with Allstars, Hawkeyes and Wanganui?
Race each other once each?

Sorry to delete your post there Barry but I've just made 3 changes to the post that Gordon copied to the top of the thread so it was easier just to delete yours. 2 x addition errors + Auckland lost both races. Will ensure you copy my results a bit better next time

Will ensure you copy my results a bit better next time I'd done them from the texts I sent out last night............ What are the changes you've made? - I can't see any differences from what I've transferred from my txts to a piece of paper to macgor's thread - unless I typo'd them in the thread ealier this morning haha. My typing ability, or inabilty, is legendary...... AND I had already corrected the bit about Auckland by saying 7 of the other 8 teams won one and lost one........
