Im choosing ford...
by the way the rover v8 was designed and built originally by Buick...
Originally an aluminum 215 cubic inch in size {3.5L} the engines were built for the Skylark in the 1960's, Buick found that most Americans didnt like the aluminum design though, so after a few years they started making a larger version - the 300 cubic inch {4.9L} for a year - 1965 - out of iron and then a while after that they enlarged the engine again - 350 cubes - and sold the original tooling and design rights to rover who have made it ever since.

Its not actually fitted to anything any more though - Rover was sold to the Chinese and no longer exists as such, Land Rover used it but changed to a BMW V8 when owned by BMW, then a Jaguar V8 when owned by Ford - and still use the same under Tata ownership. There is a factory that still turns a few of them out, but only for use as replacements, or conversions.
