theres the cost of travel the ferry is a big cost to factor in aswell

theres the cost of travel the ferry is a big cost to factor in aswell That hasn't stopped large numbers of NI drivers heading south for the stockcar and superstock NZ's and GP's. And they are bearing the cost as individual competitors, whereas teams normally have some sort of financial arrangement in place to offset some of the drivers' costs. |

Only 2 SI teams hoping to see nelson/greymouth. And what about baypark haven't seen the team since 06 or 07 are they still called the bulldogs? if they still exist i'm sure baypark has got over 15 cars

I was hoping that more south island teams would front, but sadly thats not the case. Nelson and Greymouth have both had teams races before so why miss out on the national title? Seems a bit strange to me but oh well.

Shame to see that Baypark dont put a team together , as they certainly have the numbers there .
They seem to be content on racing at their home track.

I think the plan at the beginning of this season was to put together a team towards the end of the summer, maybe even have a teams race, with a view to rejoining the teams racing world next season. Was good to see some "M" cars racing in ChCh, GM and Nelson. |

for those of us who live outside of wellington area will be looking forward to saturday night & live stremming sunday hope weather dosen,t buggar it up if so may be run latter in season & will get to see both nights live ;D ;D

going to do the road trip up for finals night, havent decided if i'll do the Saturday night as well.............................. decisions. decisions! as someone that's been to the last 8-9 champs and is going to miss this one i would recommend going both nights. Am starting to really wish i was going but oh well  |

If you are determinde to do one night never ever choose finals night as the one night! Cars are more damaged less teams races Drivers are more damaged Races less competitive. If you have to do one night, do Qualifying!! Cars are fresh, drivers are pumped, more teams races, and the hits are bigger! Very few occasions there have been when the finals night overall has been better than qualifying. Normally by the time you get to the finals the home teams advantage has kicked in, which in essence means the drivers had a better sleep, the cars are repaired better as they have there own gear, there own spares, and all there own crew. Qualifying night is were its at. Plus, if you wake in the morning and think darn I can't miss the finals, you are already there!! |

Yeah its harder to pick than a broken nose -much like picking the four semi finalists. But a descision has been made. Both nights it is then team!!!!
