Agreed, but with a huge assist from Jack Miers. That pair were awesome together. Jack got alot of the traffic out of Ashers way.

Gary Parkes implied tonight that there could be changes for the Panthers in the future, how soon? Auckland this season or for next season, there are some drivers in the Panthers who now have little to prove and the time may be right for them to step back from teams racing.

I've been 50/50 on Asher Rees until now, wondering how much of his success was due to having the best equipment, and racing with his old man keeping a watching eye over him.
After the Baypark Busters race last night, I'm a convert. He saw a gap about to open, and charged through into the lead, and from there nothing was going to stop him. He's learned his race-craft from the best in the business, and it shows.
In Rees the Younger and in Miers the Younger, we saw the future of the Palmerston North Panthers last night, and I'll hazard a guess that their domination of teams racing isn't going to end any time soon.

How long has Ethan Rees got left in Ministocks? Too long. And I hear there is another Rees child on its way, might even have arrived by now.

Peter might have to invest in a NASCAR style big rig, Peter, Asher and Ethan can all have their superstocks carted around together. Now that would be a good sight all signwritten up. ;D ;D ;D
