the team was picked on who had made themselves available......... you can't throw anyone out unless there is someone to replace them.

you can't say the team needs a change after 1 bad teams race, everybody has there off teams races, look at the tigers vs panthers teams race back in 2010, the tigers destroyed the panthers, but you didnt see any body writing that the panthers need a change

Who would you put in?
My understanding was that Boote and Fowler didn't put their names forward for teams racing.
If you think it's tough being a Nelson fan I suggest you trial being an Auckland fan for a season!

I'm not knocking them at all I am a fan I'm just putting it out there that I don't think that that was nelsons best team. Yes I wouldn't have a clue on how selection or that goes but why is there not a boote or Stanaway in the team?? One has lot of experience the other one none but who cares the deep end is always best place to start.

Brett Nicholls, Shane Harwood, Dale Ewers and Blair Cunningham all very seasoned tigers, not sure you can get any better, come on give them all a break, its not easy to win even for seasoned teams racers
i say credit where credit due, things just didnt go there way but let them regroup and come back next year

Teams racing can be a harsh mistress at the best of times. Look back a couple of years, an absolutely on fire panthers team with the best racers in the sport and they were trumped by the tigers. When its your night its your night and when its not its not.

i think you will find there has only been one change (hemi) to the panthers team that nelson dealt to in 2010. Panthers didnt panic and chuck everyone out. The same team has just flushed that perfromance down the toilet and got back to their best. This Nelson team will be back. Besides, you got a podium finish which is more than the Bay can say and they won 4 from 4 !

Tactically Saturday was a 180 degree turnaround from Friday and there was a real team bond shown. Having said that, Dale Jnr and perhaps Tom Stanaway will enter the mix in future. Can't pick Craig and Nick when they aren't available to teams race though. Not every driver wants to put car and body through that wringer ...
