Blah blah conspiracy blah blah.
However looking at Steve the Maori's view it looks like he was going to take him out, half pulled out of it and ended up on the infiled

The trophy is already polished up and in the Palmy Trophy Cabinet , which must be bulging at the seams . So end of story really .

Its a done deal the best team won.
But I would add that the only thing worse than a sore loser is a bad winner. Palmy won, great wonderful but seriously people need to step back a bit and chill out, thats on both sides of the fence.
We all know the Palmy club are going great guns but gloating and trying to get a reaction from people is rather childish. I am guilty of being easy bait too, but biting back at the baiting is probably not the go either.
And for those saying were only being proud and staunch of our teams yeah good on ya, but you can do that without being antagonistic

Dude you post threads like this, but you have a name with a 'P' in it?? Crossing loyalties much?
There are always some indiscretions at EVERY SINGLE MEETING, but not all of them get caught out. Suck it up, like someone said earlier its done and dusted and the trophy is safely at home in the PN cabinet.

By what I have watched and heard the real winner on the night was the ref for being consistant which is what we really want on these weekends is it not?
As for the Penn incident he could have drilled him alot harder than a small tap in the corner that for sure. He avoided a bigger hit and lets face it when your on the track your tryig to race hard and fair at the same time which can get blurred

Not every incident deserves exclusion or a stand down . Warnings and fines are also available to the Ref.

well after seeing the angle from the vid above, it looks like a wild out of control effort to do i dont know what. it appeared to be relatively inconsequential. i am happy ;D

I'd suggest that if you rewatched every teams race from the weekend there would be a similar incident in every race, and some far worse by other teams which were not penalised. Never said he should be penalised......... Just said he should of turned around on the infield instead of the hit.

We could do a physics lesson in where we see the momentum of the 1500kg (guess) car on grass which will have less grip or friction therefore the car would slide more, locking brakes would slide more, leave wheel straight would plow thru the nelson and turning either way left at that point in the straight he'd probably broadside the nelson and still be called a "cheat" so turn right in the hope that he misses and unfortuanatly he doesn't.
I wouldn't say he attacked from the grass and I remember the last couple of "wet" teams champs where similar incidents happened and the outside factors caused them like in this one. But that would be how I'd see it. Good hard ass racing really

In the eyes of the non Panther fans , everyone should be allowed to get away with any infringements if it means beating the Panthers . But the Panthers should be penalised / disqualified for any little technicality or anything that will stop them from walking away with the silverware .
The Panthers are the best in the business when it counts , just that many wont admit it ...
