I'm still waiting for my reply lol,
I look at this in a couple of ways - I got to see 9 teams races for $47. Now while that is a marked increase in previous shows, if you got smart and did it as a group then the "per individual" price wasn't that bad. This was the only way, other than being there, that I could have watched it so I reckon I saved $100's of dollars.
What peeves me is that there were varying degrees of response from VideoHub, ie: I know of some that did get the 2nd night free, I also know of some that got the 2nd night for half price, and then of course there were the others that got diddly squat. Either everyone should have got something, or nothing, but to give some people different deals just sucks.
Just the sheer lack of communication was astounding
PS- Does the following sentence, from the website contradict itself? The first bit says that the transmission is warrantied does it not? So no transmission = refund? And the second says that there is only refunds if the event doesn't go ahead ( nothing about rain) Well it didn't go ahead in my house lol
"Please note, we make no warranty relating to the quality of reception, only transmission. There won't be any refunds unless the event doesn’t go ahead".

Now I'm really starting to get a little annoyed, as I emailed them early on the Saturday afternoon as to how that worked (following their FB offer) and seven days later am STILL waiting for a response to that question........ Let's do it on the terracotta, Barry B

hahaha oh wow this just gets funnier. i cant believe they have done separate offers to different people. these guys are digging the hole deeper and deeper. i was one that got suckered in and tried streaming saturday night as i was under the impression the friday was going to be refunded. they still havent replied to my emails, even a commence sence one that mentioned nothing about refunds and in general asked them if running with google chrome or other programs would help the stream run.
this has became a farse and absolute mockery.
i dont want to loose the stream service, i hope they sort it out but i think the writting is on the wall and they will only have themselves to blame.

Have been advised "final decisions Tuesday", so assuming that means today, although it may be Tuesday American time of course. Hopefully a resolution everybody can be happy with.

Cant really believe a word of it! they have lied and lied, they were going to give those that emailed them a refund and said they would make contact in a few days, this clearly hasn't happened, and this after they said racing would be free on Saturday night which didn't happen also.

I won't be and I think most now don't trust the organisation enough behind these shambles , to purchase any live streams again. They only have themselves to blame .

Just contact the Commerce Commission before you go to Fair Go or Campbell Live I didn't purchase Fri nights viewing luckily but took the gamble on Sat night and had no problem Reading on here and FB complaints and having received a letter from Mr Morton I would suggest people start acting quickly on this issue as the letter leads me to believe there will be no payouts and this company will be folding. He has definitely done serious damage to the trust of us speedway people and also damaged the chances of future companies thinking of doing a similar service/product.

Mr Morton may only be pawn . Follow the money .He stated he only got a small amount per sale. From the my recipes number I would assume from Friday night number to Saturday number was approx. 1500 difference from my Email receipt numbers. Say 500 before 500 after both nights I paid , maybe around 6000 NZ total payers. @ US$40 = US$240,000 nearly NZ$280,000 This is the real money , plus the royalties from the US sales worldwide. Now this I believe was the reason why NZ viewers were dropped of coverage during important periods.. Common sense , 100 million world viewers will always get priority from 3000 speedway mad suckers. Is there any replacement for us mad speedway suckers apart from attending the meeting we wish to watch and help?.

Some of you people are getting carried away.
The reality is most people got to watch 80% of night one and nearly all got night 2 with no problems.
Some people had problems that no doubt lie with their own equipment , there is always a few each time (in some instances the same people each time?)
The problem really lies with the offers made on VideoHub's facebook page. If those offers hadn't been made I doubt a refund would be reasonable, a discount perhaps. Just like a speedway meeting that has been cut short or has laps/races trimmed , we don't get refunds.
Barry stated he had a communication earlier today that suggest a decision is nigh. Give it time or deal directly with VideoHub.

I understand that people are upset - I was one who was affected as well, I don't believe that a full refund is warranted as around on 30% of the event was lost and they did run a full replay. I hope they can offer a discount on your next purchase.I hope the same people baying for blood are not moaning next year if they decide not to cover the event or speedway at all

I think it's the info that was put on and is still on the videohub FB page that has people really upset and rightly so. www.facebook.com/VideohubNZ?ref=br_tfThis info was 7/02/14 "Tomorrows racing is completely free." 8/02/14 "Anyone still wanting refunds from yesterday please email us their receipt from Dacast.com to videohub@event-tech.co.nz and we'll get back to you within a few days" I think most people will agree so far that both these have been welshed on by Videohub and the fact that the post mentioning the refund was put up encouraged a lot of people to purchase the 2nd night by thinking video hub was going to come good on the refund they mentioned. The fact remains that the cost was nearly double but the service wasn't and someone has pocketed all the extra revenue.

Barry stated he had a communication earlier today that suggest a decision is nigh. Give it time or deal directly with VideoHub. Yes, I emailed on Sunday and asked a specific question, which went completely unanswered, but I was given the information decisions were getting closer in an email received yesterday. I agree with Gordon, be a little patient at this point in time, then have your say depending on what news you receive. It certainly appears as if I haven't been receiving as much communication as some others may have been, or at least what they claim they've sent out. Barry B

So how was the streaming this weekend? Reading on there page it didn't sound good This board was for the Palmy Superstock Teams champs. But so far as the stream last night they had an issue with the HD stream for a while but the Lower quality stream was working. Once the HD stream got sorted all was well. I suspect many of the people groaning are not following/understanding instructions or their own equipment/connection is not up to the task.
