Has it now become a pre requisite for any teams with visions of competing for either Superstock title to have some sort of pre practise races?? Points are as follows: • Nelson & Palmy have been having home/away races for a number of seasons now. Any wonder that regular meetings involving the top two helps each other out?? • Hawkeyes & Buster did the same thing this year • Busters had two very average performances but got it right this past weekend • Allstars (Yay finally) for the past two seasons race against the poms. Um rising underdogs anybody?? • Mustangs no preparation this year. This weekend showed that if you not ready for the first race you are going to be chasing the weekend…..
Whats ya thoughts all?

nelson get in as much as they can but finding willing teams to compete against is a uphill battle. the challenge cup between palmy seems to be the only constant, with the mccall trophy(ch-ch) and carter cup (welly) both encountering disorganisation. stratford last season bailed on a planned visit. heavy racing schedules also does not help in the organisation of extra team encounters. next season i would like to see another crack at our tri teams event and get palmy and baypark down.

It would be Palmy's turn to travel for the challenge cup would it not, you may struggle to get them to travel down twice with the schedule being as packed as it is

I would say palmy schedule is "packed". The superstocks didn't race that much in the first half of the season

Mustangs finished higher than the Panthers and Tigers so pop's the bubble on the theory perhaps

Mustangs finished higher than the Panthers and Tigers so pop's the bubble on the theory perhaps Only through (what I consider) a refereeing mistake.

Mustangs finished higher than the Panthers and Tigers so pop's the bubble on the theory perhaps Ah yes, but well below the acceptable placings that the Palmy supporters would of/expect. All Stars beat Palmy fair & square and raced twice before the champs. I'm not sure this could have happened in the close past. All Stars have no flash equipment (compaired to most teams) but raced effectively as a team this past weekend and put up a dogged performance over the Rebels when going down to three cars. Two of the finalist teams raced twice pre Christmas......
