I did at first think yes - but as I think about it, more and more I think it would be better to use oem diffs and tighten the rules so the big budget racer is more limited rather than open them up for further exploitation.

No to quickcanges in stockcars, but at the same time 4 bar linkages, z bars, & floating rear ends really don't belong there either (in my opinion). Kind of outside of the spirit of the class really. Cheers, BL

Why o why is there so many types of guys ,who wishes to destroy and simply cant enjoy ,a great class ,because his brain is in his rrse ,but they never do think about the budget man ,because they are rich and can afford to drink out of a can .

My vote was "no" until I found out the Hilux offset 4 link diff in my car costs way more than a quickchange.

My vote was "no" until I found out the Hilux offset 4 link diff in my car costs way more than a quickchange. Exactly why the 4 link, floating rear ends need to banned as well!! as for banning floating or 4 link diffs..we all know that will never happen.. when guys are running all this expensive gear in stockcars why would you rule out a second hand qc...or any other diff.. its only a diff..its only a ratio...30k 40k 50k stockcars out there running against 6500 bucks.....and a guy cant pick up a cheapie qc for his b grader...crazy ..tighten up on those desperate ppl spending superstock money on a stockcar..then ill understand why a qc cant be biffed into the mix... you dont ban a bisalloy chassis or crazy high rise carbies or a myriad of other things ppl have come up with to defeat the basic intent of the class...so why make ppl spend big bucks on a decent diff.,.take the money out of it and allow any diff.. we will never see the end of tall carbies or mega buck motors..anyway, if your motor cant turn fast enough a qc or any other diff wont make an iota off a difference..so whats the problem?? Z

You know what I think there is a movement from expemsive atockcars to superstocks.
I think I lot of guys out there who spent that money are seeing supers as a much more viable options, and I think there is going to be a surge in super numbers his season

yes i think your right...i think the no attacking in the bends rule has put some ppls minds to rest...i think the chevy idea was great even if it was just to show guys you dont need to be the most expensive or fastest on the track to race in the top flight
