Little difficult to be too positive at 6am this morning for Tauranga and Baypark Family Speedway.
Total dark cloud cover and a light moist fall collecting the local rag.
Photo looks 'lighter' than reality!
7am and we have light rain.
The terracotta clay track cannot be walked on with the slightest of moisture.

Murray, you are certainly not Ken Ring the weather forecaster. At 12.30pm today, we were still putting water on the track He certainly gives it his best shot ,maybe the Lord of the Rings . |

Bernie, I have never professed to get it right all the time and that's okay!
Just trying to provide up to date, timely advice to out of town drivers and spectators (plus locals).
Needed your to help get water into the track at Meeanee!
Hot (28 degrees) with constant strong 'drying' winds, and dusty!
PS: Who is 'Ken Ring?'
