mordicai was just bout to start thread myself well done.
to all you people arguing about weather it was legal or illegal leave that for snz to decide how about some compassion for an amazing superstock racer who has been very hurt tonight which with other accidents similar to this have ended in death.
well done wellington tractor driver for catching his car could have been so much worse
all my thoughts are with chad his crew and his supporters. as part of the wider speedway family remember we are all here for you at this time.
also a a huge welldone to all emergency staff at the scene.

I agree. It is not up to us to decide wither its legal or not, our concern should be for a good driver who has been hurt. I hope to hear that chad is all OK. My thoughts are with chad, his partner n family n his crew. Great to hear for the quick smart actions of the tractor driver.

Im pleased to see someone has the sense to put this up, I have blocked all postings on my FB regarding Chads accident as its all about weather its legal or not. None of us are SNZ and its not up to us. I hope Chad is OK and makes a full recovery. The emergency services seemed very on to it last night and that can make a huge difference.

Thanks everyone for your concern and messages. Chad is doing well and will make a full recovery. We are waiting on a couple of test results and all going to plan should be discharged today. A huge thanks goes to the St John crew for how professional and helpful you all were. We really appreciate it! Chad being Chad was more concerned about the car and asked if he had won the race. Thanks again for your support.

Re the whole 9 cop scenario , upon leaving the speedway on Saturday night I saw 2 come through the gate followed by the remaining coming towards the speedway . As I wondered why police would be attending and so many was surely it hadn't become a crime scene . Was relieved when ace Motorsport posted a update mid afternoon on Sunday via Facebook

I counted 6 police, 3 ambulance & 2 fire trucks when i saw the first fire truck i knew that it was going to the track then saw more and i thought there was a serious crash i guess the other 9 or 10 emergency services had nothing to do and tagged along lol

Reason for police was because ambulance called status 1 (worse possible) .Then down rated to status 2. Police then called serious crash unit.reason car got inpounded. But, Ace is home.
