Blue group looks deadly with 4 former multiple champions plus the current champ. Then to top that off probably one of the favorites in Harding. Can't wait to watch it unfold.

Add 66H Craig Marsh to Pink group his name wasnt included. Name isn't on Wellingtons website, probably just an oversight so I added him in where you suggested he should be.

Hey Barry Brown can NZ Supers run more for finals night i.e 24 cars?? You can apply to SNZ to run more, but I don't imagine other than at Baypark you'd get permission to run more than 20 in a New Zealand title. That would have to of been done before the entry form was sent out too I suspect, so the format now would be as per entry form. I'm guessing that states a 20 car final? Ben Harding has a baby due that weekend too, or at least his wife does, so that was poor planning on somebody's part!! He has recently stated (on LiveSPORT radio) that the BK Series is more important to him than the NZ's, and that he may miss the NZ's in Welly this year and that'll be just the way it is. Hopefully Baby Harding will arrive a few days early!! Let's do it on the terracotta, Barry B

I can't imagine any of us will be 100% correct with our qualifying picks. In Blue Group it would take a major problem for 1NZ not to make the cut, he has historically gone exceptionally well at the Te Marua track. With 24A possibly not making the start this opens up another spot. Two drivers that are not on everybody list that have gone particularly well since the new track surface has been laid are 13B and 88W. 77S is so hard to know, he could be first or last in the group without it being a surprise. So I'm assuming Ben will not be there with my pick as would regard him a certain qualifier normally. 1NZ Mark Osborne 12M Kristin Vermeulen 13B Mick Quin 48C Gavin Hill 88W Brian Commerford 96A Lance Jennings
The Pink Group is one where I expect a few favoured drivers to miss out through attrition. As usual there will be some innocent victims, my picks reflect this. 21W Don Gregory 34T Ray Stewart 35N Mark Carey 41B Graeme Strong 492I Campbell McManaway 811C Roger Nees
Green Group has a number who may do well but are unknown quantities. All the M's for instance, 6M must be due to come up with an innervation that works brilliantly, 27M, 41M and 53M have all shown good form this season but not at Te Marua. Steve Flynn is normally sensational at our track and it would not surprise me if he won the championship. 3NZ Steve Flynn 9W Mark Pitcher 24W Martin Halcrow 58C Richie Taylor 71C Willie Woodhouse 891C Josh Boulton
From the repercharge 5T Darryl Ainsley 6B Grant Flynn
