I had dropped a valve but all fixed thanks to rex danby .2jz toyota supercharged If you raced in the class last season you only need one meeting to compete in NZ Champs Let's do it on the terracotta, Barry B

Further to the chassis discussion. 11C - ex Grocott Tinyrod 76C - I believe this to be a Lovelady ex Bolt with different bodywork this season 96A - I have it on reasonably good authority that the Hypermac will be the weapon of choice for this weekend With regards to 41M, what is happening with the ex Waddell Phantom chassis? Anthony Phantom chassis is sitting in the garage.

Qoute the 76 c corvette is a ex Shane maka 1 nz made chassis not lrc car and starting to get it ready for nzs with a few changes if the 76c is the ex Shane Maaka it should be the old king George Gordge ? As I understand it this is the car that I built for the NZ's in ChCh in 2002 but was unable to compete in that event so its first Nz's was the Napier Champs in 2004. Its was a comboination of ideas incorporationg the Best of what Id seen from Murray Gordge, Kevvy Moore, Murray Pierce as well as a few specific ideas I had including the 20+ inches of stagger. It was built complete from the ground up in 3weeks and its first race meeting was the south Island champs in Dunedin. which we won It was built with one thing in mind which was to win championship races in the slick. It ran king Georges original NZ Champs Motor from 1991 and looking back nothing could touch it in the Medium to Slick tracks ............ and it made an average driver look pretty impressive.

The 77 car is a KGB (Kuriger-Gordge-Blondie) Modified chassis from the early 90's I'm told. The 1956 Standard 10 (have the headlight stickers to prove it!!) is powered by a mid 90's 13B Mazda rotary with a supercharger off a 2010 Mustang (which cost less than my NEW gloves, boots & helmet!). It has a Bert gearbox, Winters open tube quickchange, cross torsion rear suspension with a Blondie beam front axle and an HQ Holden steering idler, & coil over suspension & fairly normal (for Modifieds & Sprint Cars) KSE power steering with a Fergy 35 steering wheel to connect to the old guy hanging on for dear life. Front brakes are VP Commodore rear calipers, with Nissan Vannette discs and 13" wheels surrounded by secondhand tires off the J D Hickmans Team Midget. Rear brakes are standard Winters? with the usual big mother American Racer rear tires, mostly second hand off Merv Julians Modified & Geoff Fletchers Super Saloon. The blower is multi rib V belt driven & sits where the old Chev? V8 was. There is a cobbled together (ex various places) dry sump, power steer & Hillborn pump assembly, again multi rib V belt driven between the blower & the basically stock standard (but fettled by Brent Curran) and the whole shamozzle is topped off with Gallmac engineered highly modified 13B manifolds. A Dobson Dyno Tuned LINK computer controls the 6 injectors & 4 coils to fire (we hope?) the methanol fuel. There are some Isuzu? 4? ton truck driveshafts connecting things to the little 80 cubic inch rotary perched out front. Whoops, way past my bedtime, especially considering the 3am finish last night. Only 1 flat tire between Inglewood & my daughters in Naenae.

This will give your bum cheeks something to grab hold of, like a paua to a rock. happy skidding.
