Hopefully the weather forecast will change. At this stage forecast showers for Thusday,Sat,Sun. Chris can you please give us. Your contingency plan. Like, will the meeting be held first fine day, How many wet days continuos before the meeting is changed to new date. If date is changed do spectators who have prepaid seats qualify for a refund if not able to make new date. I personally hope this meeting runs according to plan, but people need to know in advance as some I know would have to change their work commitments etc.

Plan B includes Sunday and Monday (anniversary day). Not sure of plan C though. The forecast a similar distance out from the NZ Superstock was no better but the weather ended up very good. The long term estimate for Wellington weather is often wrong.

I got my weather report from Mett Service for Upper Hutt, and from this. Morning till now, Friday has gone from showers to cloud. That is great news.

I like Murrays report! the long range weather forecast is really just computer generated from the days they can predict before. So I don't even look this far out.Come next Wednesday / Thursday you will have a better idea.. It's gonna be all go!!

In Wellington experience, 10 day out forecasts are more fantasy than Lord of the Rings
