A picture is worth a thousand words, Mike and Tina Flynn. Great capture of that 'special moment', the pride and the passion, love and commitment, photo by Melissa Collier.

A great weekend of racing, many spectacular passes with the track for the most part holding up well.
Gregory also announced this was his last meeting, which is a bit of a shame for the wellington club.
Congrats to the top 3, oh so close for Pitcher but thats racing.

Why'd Don Gregory have a go at John Roberts after the finish of that consolation race? Frustrated that Roberts was blocking him? Wasn't one of the protests from one of the repechages raised by Don Gregory on account of Shane Macintyre blocking him on corner exit? Also here is a video from the first corner pileup of heat one - www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10200115672691534

Great nights racing and great result too congratulations to all who competed and especially to Steve Grant mike and family tthat was and always is a team/family effort and what speedway for a lot off us is all about.
So those that want their name on that trophy your going to have to try take it off Steve and family at the home of the Current 1NZ super saloon champion..at meeane speedway in sunny Napier in 2016 .................

Yea and good luck with that trying to beat those boys down there .Well done to the Flynn family and other place getters;
Did not see what went on with Roberts and Gregory but Gregory would have been really angry with missing the main event .
Any way another typical super championship over ,They probably beat the stock cars as well for up side downs /

Some pictures from Square Photography and JDP photography from night 1 on facebook, both including Terry Corin upside down. Steve Flynn, Mark Grocott and Ian Burson a very well deserved podium, they all drove clean and had a bit of luck (especially Flynn and Burson) to get through mishaps caused by others unscathed. Mark Pitcher and Grant Flynn oh so close, I'd picked a Flynn to be on the podium after seeing their pace a couple of weeks ago, but picked the wrong one!

hasn't Gregory retired before .?? see you at napier 2016 Donald He said he is burnt out on racing and this was his last meeting, he then said we may see him back in a couple of years, so it sounds as if he is taking a few seasons off. He also said he is interested in getting a superstock but past injurys prevent it.
