Get over it , that's what the referees are for .The race win was awarded to the Panthers end of story . Or did they call out over the loud speaker [ who won spectators ] lol. We hear the same old broken record every year , and its normally directed at the Panthers win . Sour Grapes on special lol

Mods will prob delete this showing there dictatorship and which promotion is big brother.
What more does Scott Mires have to do to be disqualified? any other team that had a car jump the green light would have been sent from the track! Even the commentator pointed out how bad it was and then there was the attacking of the grass in the semi final, both these resulted in the opposition lead car being taken out just laps from the finish! It's a joke, becoming like the Americas cup.

I just find it amusing that so many people believe if the ref didn't see it (yet clearly many others did) it didn't happen.lol No sour grapes here, panthers won, and without a Rees, well done to them.

Doesnt take you guys long to get on here and start complaining about this and that..... Feel free to apply for a refs spot.... In the mean time take a second out from the pregnant doging and congratulate EVERY driver from EVERY team for giving it their all... How the hell do they sit in those seats with balls so big? Hoping the few that required medical attention are ok.

Wow what a great nights racing and then you see the action online moaning about this that and everything else, it's a crack up.
Yes palmy won, yes there was no Rees, but it's certainly becoming a regularity that palmy achieve a victory whilst being clouded in controversy!
Scott Miers, attacking from the infield (more than once), jumping the start, yes the guy has a cheap shot at Rees afterwards but yet it's another driver bending the rules to suit themselves, like Rees, like Humphries!
Bengston was awesome, how he managed to survive the wall attack who knows, but still had a smile at the end.
How about those "3 min" bells?
I think that a lot of the "senior" posters or moderators on here need to chill a bit and not be so defensive! Hell my team didn't make the finals but I still feel for the m or v guys for being robbed. And I don't think I was alone, the whole grandstand seemed in agreeance!
No I don't want the refs job, not many would, but maybe if there is that much that the ref conveniently misses, is it worth more refs being involved?
I would like to say however, that controversy aside, congrats to all the teams for putting it on the line, putting on a show!
Only 364 more sleeps till race 1!
Or 26 more sleeps till Auckland Teams Nats, woohoo!

No I don't want the refs job, not many would, but maybe if there is that much that the ref conveniently misses, is it worth more refs being involved? There are several officials posted around the track as spotters for the refs up in the box who give their views on various incidents throughout the weekend (what they saw, anything they think needs to be looked at) so while the guys in the box are the ones who make the decisions, they aren't doing so based solely on what they see. Adding more refs to the box isn't going to help, and I don't think they need more spotters either as they seem to have enough to cover all areas of the track already. Well done to the Panthers, Warriors and Busters Brawlers on their podium finishes, you all earned it. Thank you to all drivers, crews, sponsors and officials who make this the best two nights of racing on the speedway calendar.

]There are several officials posted around the track as spotters for the refs up in the box who give their views on various incidents throughout the weekend Maybe they only had GA passes and not a reserved seat, so where fighting with everyone else for a spot to see anything on the track.

Agree wholeheartedly. There were several races last night that would have been worthy of final status in other years, but the cream rose to the top, and the final was one amazing race. The Panthers were deserved champions (and it breaks my heart to say that, as a Warriors fan, sponsor and part of the support team); you can't really argue with a 1-2-3 finish. But there was almost as much damage on the Palmy cars as there was amongst the Warriors, and the boys from Wanganui gave it everything. They were naturally disappointed afterwards, but still come away with an immense sense of pride in retaining the #2 ranking for next year. And if we can keep this team together for 2016, anything is possible. Hearty congratulations too to Kyle Heibner, winning the Spike Richardson Trophy for the best driver at the event for the second year running; his blocking on both nights was brutal. And a special word to Dion Mooney for two excellent drives in a car he'd never sat in before. When I farewelled my English mate Shayne last night, he had an ear-to-ear grin. He'd travelled a long way for another taste of something that is unique to New Zealand, and even though the GB team didn't win, you could see he'd got his money's worth. Isn't that what Teams Champs is all about?

highrevz, you've had your say 3x over. This is a discussion board, let others state their view. And whats the problem with highrevz having his say x3 over percy? As you point out this is a discussion board! Or is there a quota for how many times someone can respond to a post he or she has created? Highrevz, Please do not justify palmy being too good ever again mate lol. The panthers once again cheated and rigged the draw (yawn) like the last however many years some people keep waffling on about. Time for some new material.......best team won woooohoooo yeahhhh Panthers Big shout out to the Warriors too! Awesome racing all weekend fellas.Im sure your supporters went away proud as hell of your efforts.Well done

Congrats to every driver - crew - official. The track was awesome, the racing was exceptional. Best $50 I could spend. I'm an m supporter and the boys played hard and clean. Every driver is a hero. Even the small hits are big - all them hurt. Thank you all for a fantastic nights racing - you all rock..... everyone of you from every team. Thank you !

You know over the weekend from where I sat in the grandstand there were jump starts, passing in the grass, attacking on the grass, cutting the pole line, average calls etc.
But you know what else I saw that overrides that. 60 drivers putting the heart and soul, bodies and cars all on the line to win for their province. And they were trying everything to win. The Warriors even threw wheels at the panthers.
There's always going to be argument about who did what where and how but who cares. All the drivers, crew and officials are all true champions because year after year they come back try and stamp their mark on history and keep one of the biggest annual sporting events alive for a long time to come
