not sure what the problem is, clearly it was discussed and allowed......how does it go? sour grapes and build a bridge....lol. Had they have won there may be a few sour grapes rolling around, but how did they go again? Discussed with whom? Allowed by whom? Barry B i apoligise if they did not seek your permission mr bb, i guess it was discussed with the person that counted. is this really all you have left to stamp your feet at?

I don't matter, but they didn't discuss it with those that did matter however, from what I can tell.............

The days of claiming a strategic advantage by running teams numbers are well n truly over I would have thought. You know what, if Nelson wana keep running their team #'s so be it. The days of Nelson being a competitive force on the national stage seem to be well and truly over. Lots of talk around us that they made dix of themselves by doing it. I don't know that I go along with those thoughts really, but a nickels worth of free advice for Nelson... If you don't wanna be known as one, don't be one

But haven't all or most teams got teams numbers that they have used until Palmy?. The drivers list on the Nelson site only has the drivers usual race numbers listed that I can see. Then there is a list with team numbers on the Tigers page. I can see any mention of some drivers having 2 different registered numbers.Ignore the first part of my post above , just went and had another look and got something different in the drivers list. Weird My gut feeling is the Tigers lost some mana last weekend by running with the team numbers instead of their proper racing numbers. Sad really. Big brother is watching YOU!! All that means, I suspect, is that the Nelson website is showing those drivers with numbers listed beside their names that are different to what they race on a normal Saturday night? Barry B It's almost as though someone read my post and went 'oh crap I'd better change that page again quick'. But I don't believe that happened , I'm more leaning toward thinking it had more to do with caches than anything else , but then again you can never be sure why some things happen as they do. I think I will leave the light on tonight.

There's two cars running 84N according to Nelson's site, how many cars can you have in a team?? One will be a real 84n, the other a teams 84n. They're going to need better wrapping paper than that Or maybe they need David Copperfield to create some illusions... Barry B

Don't worry Ben ur not the only one biting ones tongue .... cant believe the nuisance bein spouted on here bout team numbers .. yes I am obviously a tigers fan. but if ud been to teams before u would know which tiger is which to make it more confusing the program had jnr as 83 in the pic but listed as his usual #85
personally i didn't have a problem with the tigers keeping the status quo certainly didn't think they were acting like dix ( tho cant say the same for some of the narrow minded views shown in here ) ..
now breathe people

another thing .... if we are talkn bout keeping things simpler for the new fan, how bout changing numbers when u swap cars .. after K.P had his little sleep on Friday nite, some had no idea who was in the tank .. maybe they should of swapped the 6 for a 3 .. then at least the new fans would of been up with the play ... cos its all bout keeping the fans in the know right? ..

And that what you guys just don't seems to get. It's about making the greatest show on dirt even better. You talk of the narrow minded views on here, but all what most of them are supporting is a new rule introduced as part of the entry into the event. You could argue the Tigers were narrow minded by feeling they were above the rules perhaps? Barry B

Well aren't some people a bit titchy these days. mordecai made a statement, didn't ask a question but stated that the tigers will change next year as if being said with some knowledge that it will happen. I merely asked if that was true? And by doing so start a spat?? wow
Well the cars all had the right numbers in the program so I'm kinda guessing that SOMEBODY knew?? unless the Tigers had them all printed Friday morning without anyone noticing
By their own admission the Tigers got it wrong teams weekend. Beaten in a good race by the Panthers, then stuffed it up vs the Mustangs. Such is life

They found the loop hole.. and did it in a clever fashion. The 82-86n numbers are clearly history in Nelson Superstock Teams ranks, and a tradition. They did everything by the rules. and they went the right paths in doing so.
