an interesting side note 54v bevan humpreys car is either a year older or newer than the silver bullet cant remember which , . and both tmacs after 20 years are still racing at the highest level. and still are competitive

No mention of any specific car... who are you referring to? A car might sound noisy at certain parts of the track but that's not always where the sound is measured. So many variables affect the readings. You can blow into those devices and it gives a reading over 100dba

It's the Musgrove tri-rail that went to Chad Ace after Cooper. The Darren Grey tri-rail went up to Auckland 51a Wayne Whittaker? Still has it too I think

You do relise fundamentally what sound actually is right? And, it is not the device varying the readings...... any time you read over, you are over. When you're lucky the atmosphere conditions reduce the readings by damping the pressure amplitude. It never actually increases the amplitude.
