I hope everyone is ok, I copy and pasted below from Hawkes Bay Today
BREAKING
UPDATED: Five people have been injured in a crash on the Napier-Taupo Rd this morning.
State Highway 5 is currently blocked in both directions after a logging truck and a car collided near Te Pohue.
One person is seriously injured and is currently being airlifted to Hawke's Bay Hospital.
Police said the injuries of the four other people appeared to be non-life-threatening and they were transported to Hawke's Bay Hospital by ambulance.
Hawke's Bay Today understands the injured include speedway drivers who were travelling to Taupo for a race.
Motorists should expect delays with traffic at a standstill in both directions.
Police said those planning to travel on the highway are urged to reschedule their journey or take alternative routes.
There is no indication at this stage when the highway will be reopened.
