Looking at the pics what has happened to the Rugby ground in the middle as i thought it was one of the main playing grounds now for BOP Rugby and another use for the stadium. they just recently turned the rugby field into a jetboat arena for an amazing event earlier this year

Bring the jetsprints back and get some water into it as it looks like a great dusty track.

Adult and youth mini stocks featured 'heavily' at this meeting with some excellent racing displays but also with a few 'less than entertaining' small fields of cars in some races.
Sprint cars were low in numbers but big on dust ...

Well it was my first visit to Baypark for some time on Saturday night. Pretty disappointed really. 50% of the programme was Ministocks, I know that this is where it all starts for a lot of racers, but we were also subjected to Adult Ministocks . Sprintcar racing was good to watch through the dust storm even with just 10 cars. Saloon Car Racing was ok as well. Not quite the 43 Stockcars as expected, but those that showed up put on a good show.
I'm sorry Baypark Promotion, but you did nothing to make me want to drive 2 Hours and pay $20.00 to watch racing at your track. Second race of the night was Saloons and by the second lap the dust was flying, and a ute with a 1000ltr tank of water wandering around and wetting spots here and there between races didn't really help much.
