Can't see the Ree's putting their hands up to do teams at Palmy, if they were keen to race there you would have thought they would have been at the 248's last night Do you think about your comments before you post...? What does racing @ 248s have to do with wanting to teams race? If you had noticed awhile back the Rees ran a competition to design Gisborne Giants colours and body design etc..this may indicate to the likes of you that teams bodies are for teams racing?? Also by a lot of the incidents over the last 24hrs knock outs..engine blows etc you could call it smart to not run 2 weeks out from teams..

What car was Mooney driving/destroying at Palmy? My understanding is that it was a Palmerston North track car, which is why it had a GB Lions bonnet on it. According to reports on FB, the motor was out and on the back of a ute by 4am on Sunday morning, ready for a visit to be repaired.

From there fb page
After considerable work by the management of the GoFast Glen Eagles we are in a position to name an updated team for Palmy. The GoFast Glen Eagles are: 5C Jason Fletcher 23C Jay Holtham 53P Kevin Roberts 63A Bryce Marx 888C Chris Flett 6th Driver Jacob Brownlees
Thank you to all those who have made the effort to contact the GoFast Glen Eagles Management, Ivan, Ricky, and Woodford Glen to make themselves, their skills, time and their cars available to the GoFast Glen Eagles. We look forward to representing the club and GoFast at Palmy.

With Bryce Marx turning out for the Glen Eagles, is that a pointer to there being no Auckland Allstars, and the Gisborne Giants being given a lifeline?

Which makes the fact that they will get a team sorted for this weekend vs UK but then not front to Palmy a bit weird. UK side could of raced a team that is going and maybe closer to Palmy where they have just raced this weekend. Long haul up to race a nits team but i guess its all seat time and team time for the less experienced UK drivers. They seem to know how to pedal based on early form at the 240s and 248s where they have gone ok in the company of some of no's best.

They are over here on holiday, either see some of the country or sit in a hotel watching Coro st reruns? Also just to point out there is a huge difference between the two events for anyone committing to racing

Realise the difference in events. huge an understatement really. Just an idea and opinion mate. Im sure it will be a good race and a small insight to what they can expect the week after as a team. They have good support in place, some good machinery so good luck to them

Yet to be confirmed by the Tigers management but I understand there will be a change to this lineup.
