Now we have named teams I'd like to know whose the favourite to win this thing?
Will Scott Miers absence cost the Panthers? Can the Mustangs do it? Will the Nelsonians get the job done minus Dale McKenzie and Brett Nicholls? Will the Hawkeyes continue what has been a stellar season for the B? Will the Giants squash the opposition? Have you spotted an underrated team that will take it out?
I'd like to hear from you, the wise Macgor contributors as to who is your pre-meeting favourite and why.

I know I can be a tad bias when it comes to my local track. But when you take into account that four of the Wildcats team raced together in the Young Guns team that won Wellingtons first Stockcars teams title at Baypark 14 years, and the other driver is in the best form of his career, I say the Wildcats are genuine title contenders this year.

hawke eyes have a strong team going. but cant see them winning this year. i rate the mastangs over the panthers. top 4 mastangs, gissy, hawkeyes, wangauni depending on the draw.

Least with Scott Miers absence the meeting will finish 40 minutes earlier Taking into account Scotts 4 10 minute bells at the pit gate Wont be needed now

Have heard the Hawkeyes have had engine dramas with one of their team.
Have heard a replacement car has been found - and quality of car will in my humble opinion make the team stronger
Good to hear wildcats mentioned as front runners.
Gizzy - given 3/4a of team dominated the stockcars teams in first outing you would have to rank them high.
Nelson strong, but question the reliability factor needed to make it through 4 races.
Panthers could do it if Peter b takes over blocking role of mierz
And glad it wasn't me that mentioned Nelson gizzy in same group. Has to be a done deal

Only to be hammered themselves All im hoping for is an incident free weekend where the best team wins it on the dirt, and not in the referees box And if i hear that horrible hawkes bay chant more than once i'll bloody hang myself with my tigers flag lol
