Other commitments I've heard but hopefully someone can shed some light on here before I get slammed by certain people for writing this.

Hi, yes Kerry won't be racing for the Mustangs as his wife's best friend is getting married so he will be attending that. While Kerry loves to teams race family and friends are his number one priority these days. Richard Hart was a great fit in the Mustangs as 6th driver and will have no problem stepping up to driving this weekend. Disappointed not to be going as the 2016 Mustangs are a great bunch of guys who all get on well with each other so best of luck to the team this weekend.

Bruce hopes to get confirmation from Nelson Tigers Tonight/Tomorrow. I'd guess Tigers say they'd like to be there, then Tigers receive an offer of travel/appearance and also prize money on offer. Then Tigers accept or decline.
Who's your pick for the $2000 Dash for Cash at the end of the meeting?

Does a medical check clear you to race if you were knocked out at previous meeting?

Yes I have been thanx.
In all your wisdom, inform me of a format for a two day event with 7 teams.
Thanx in advance.

Does a medical check clear you to race if you were knocked out at previous meeting? Medical certificate after 22 day stand down or minimum 15 days after application to SNZ and passing a check by a doctor selected by SNZ M6-11 Concussion M6-11-1 When a competitor is diagnosed with concussion by a Doctor or Medical Officer the stand-down period from racing is 22 days, commencing from the date of the injury. M6-11-2 The concussion must be noted on the competitors licence. M6-11-3 The SNZ Office must be informed of the competitor's concussion. M6-11-4 A medical clearance is required from a doctor advised by the SNZ Office prior to the resumption of racing. M6-11-5 Where suspicion of a concussion exists, and a competitor refuses or doesn’t receive a medical assessment, the Track Steward can issue the 22 day stand-down. M6-11-6 A competitor diagnosed with concussion can apply to the SNZ Office to have their stand-down period reduced to an absolute minimum of 15 days from the date of the injury. They will be required to see a doctor selected by SNZ (at their cost), prior to a decision by the Board.

Fantastic. Is that night one? What happens for night 2? Or is the 8 teams races spread over two nights? Most teams events have at least 8 teams races per night. It is what it is, and I don't want to see it fall over, but I am still wondering how 7 teams can be a two night meet.
