PARKINGFor those who haven't been to Gisborne, here's a rough layout of PARKING.
There is space available within the venue BUT, can take time exiting due to crews, public, staff etc all exiting the one gate. We recommend the near by Industrial Park, entry prior to the Speedway. PLEASE refrain from parking on the PUBLIC HIGHWAY. This may or may not be cone off, BUT it's a dumb idea. $2.00 Parking Fee for both car parks

10.30am Pit Gates Open
12.00 pm - 3.30pm Scrutineering at Eastland Group Speedway
3.30pm Main Gate Opens
6.00pm Grand Parade
27th February 2016
1.00 pm Pit Gates Open
1.00 pm - 5.00 pm Scrutineering at Eastland Group Speedway

5.45pm Grand Parade for top 8 qualifiers
6.45pm Vintage Stockcars

Prizegiving: On the infield at the conclusion of the final race.

Exiting the trackWhen exiting the track you will be directed to exit on TURN 4, cut across the infield, then head towards the wall and exit pit gate.  DONT try and exit from infield directly to the pit gate, you wont make it ... :-)

Going by that exit instruction the track is still quite banked, sure I read somewhere they had flattened it by a substantial amount recently.
Has it been changed from what it was?

The poll line was moved in all around the track approx 1-1.5 metres, a couple of seasons ago,still well banked.

Jeepers,with that banking there will have to be different tactics developed and no danger of damage to the wall either as they will not have the grunt to get near it at any pace.

As per page 1 regarding times - depending on the pit lay out you may be able to enter through the pit, if not the access gates should be open - normally the pit will need to be cleared before the grand parade for safety reasons
