Robbed of what? Legal moves? 186n being taken off. I think the Ref would have viewed it as attacking a car that wasn't in an attacking position. I'm not so sure it was a deliberate attack myself but that's only my opinion and it's not mine that counts.

Well done to the Panthers for an awesome victory and the Giants too for putting up one heck of a fight. Superstock teams racing doesn't come any better than that particularly brutal battle. Good to see a good crowd at the Park for the event too.

Robbed of what? Legal moves? 186n being taken off. after seeing 84b hitting 186n (?) in stationary, non attacking position I would agree with you.. and Boris did look semi out of control hitting supposed parked car so kinda hard done by there

In relation to a couple of incidents tonight.......
Stationary Vehicles R12-4-45 If a stationary vehicle is blocked by the wall, poleline or another vehicle, they cannot hit or be hit.
&
R12-4-48 Competitors cannot force or steer other vehicles into stationary vehicles.
There used to be a rule about hitting a stationary car facing the wrong way. However that rule seems to have disappeared so the 84b hit on 6n was ok.
I think the question is not so much about the rules being broken, but is more in relation to the penalties applied to the respective incidents.

Appears Asher was leading by a lap from Scott Joblin. Rolled Simon Joblin 30m from chequered flag and Scott made the lap back to win. Best teams race seen in a long long time massive up's to jack miers......stopped everyone!!

The drivers really enjoy it generally and it shows in the racing. Thank you to all the drivers for the weekend.

Can anyone confirm the referees on night 2 were different from the first night? I have spoken today to the Night 1 Senior Referee who is very upset and gobsmacked by the actions undertaken in night two. It appears that some did not like the offences or penalties handed out after night one, so the Palmerston North referee team turned up and basically took over and removed any control the appointed Ref had. For me this is absolutely disgusting behaviour. The ref appointed for the night is a very experienced senior ref. If this is not match fixing then what is it? I truly hope SNZ deal with this appropriately. If anyone has an issue or questions what I have then PM me or call me.

If anyone has an issue or questions what I have then PM me or call me. well by the sounds of things inconsistencies between calls on night 1 were beyond acceptable.. and having officials with gisborne giants shirts handing out fines is appalling.. if that is not a conflict of interest I don't know what is the (gisborne) senior ref you speak of may be highly experienced... but not especially in teams racing! the refs who were brought in night 2 have vast experience and years worth of teams refereeing did a great job, with the exception of possibly one call (b vs n) the were extremely fair all night and did not favour any one team - not to mention no ridiculous fines issued for minor offences and no it is not match fixing.. match fixing would be more if biased officials singled a particular car, let him race both races on night 1, deem it having (not confirmed) illegal parts after racing and remove driver/car from meeting complete with points being removed resulting in complete new finals night match ups and not to mention botching the entire TAB odds/results for the weekend point being there was no controversy or unfair calls last night with the replacement refs compared to what there was with this other "experienced" ref initially appointed

Great respect from Asher to stop on back straight and wait for the panthers to come round and personally congratulate the panther drivers.... Maybe a public display of his real desires ? Can't help but think that senior is denying the juniors the career he had. Imagine a team of miers humphries Rees x 2 and taniwha junior. How long could a team like that dominate ?

So you are saying it's the promoters choice to change the SNZ appointed officials when they feel they should?
What's the need for SNZ officials then?
