There is a rule that u can't push cars into stationary cars..I guess to save injury for the unsuspecting sitting duck..

No openings in the bonnet rearward, towards the driver. I would consider this this as being rearward facing.

Pete was still turning right.. Wouldn't he need to release and/or turn around from the car pushing him infield first, thus not continuing on into the path of the parked car?

I don't know why you are singling out Peter because 9/10 times cars don't rotate around

Did you read the whole thread or one comment?

Pretty hard to release from a car pushing on your rear bumper and not much steering to be had anyway. The pushing car is the one that has to release.

Did you read the whole thread or one comment? Jeffrey have you read the whole thread? Because it's not a thread about your quote. You talk about not turning around from the car pushing him infield when at speed it can happen so quick. I mentioned that hardly anyone turns around. No harm done

in saloons and super saloons the bonnet acts as a fire wall between the driver and engine. lose that infield. i would think stockcars and superstocks would be same as to why they get removed? (thats a calcuated guess only). i sore 56b stockcar get pulled for a simular looking bonnet at meeanee last meeting? as an offical you gotta be a brave man to make that call in a championship final. well done right call was made. dont think we give enough prise when tight decisons they get right.

Agree completely. I've got to know a number of the referees at Oceanview this season, and I wouldn't have their job for quids. Mpost of the decisions they make are 100% correct, but inevitably, we only ever hear condemnation of the wrong decisions.
