Well done to Jayden Ward for winning both the Stockcar and Superstock features. I gather he also cemented his lead in the Stockcar season points too. He sure will be one to watch next season. screen shots

Race 1 - 77b and 34w cars came together down the grandstand straight and 34w rolled a few times in to turn 3 (followed by a big punch up on the infield) 77b didn't seem to bail out of it....
Race 2 - 95p rolled on the start finish line (sidecar rider ??)
Race 3 - 57p spent a few laps trying to get around the Halcrow car and going over the start finish line sent her up the wall and over while 57p skidded infield and hit another saloon that had retired a few laps earlier

Im sure it was. Happened in front of me

Jayden joins a select group who have won races in both the Stockcar class and in Superstocks on the same night. I think William Humphries has, Peter Rees, Asher perhaps, not too sure, Dion Mooney might've. Anyway, quite and achievement and not very likely to be repeated any time soon I think, what with Jayden, William and the Rees family all concentrating on Superstocks for the foreseeable future. I'd be interested to hear of any other racers who have won in different classes on the same night, I got told once over a few beers that Russell Joblin won in a Modified and then again in a (Super) Stockcar. Late Mail: I've been informed that Shane Harwood has also won in both a Stockcar and a Superstock on the same night.

26v let go big time, thankfully the fire went out very quickly and nobody got hurt. pictures upload16 year old Jamie Tinetti has moved up to Stockcars from Youth Ministocks and looks to have a very good car. He gave his Ministock to his 16 year old mate Mason Dunlop to drive last night for his speedway debut and he went well too. Looking good for next season. image upload no compressionhow to do a screen shotI recommend Jamies mum at Terrace End Hairdressers for a value for money haircut, she's doing mine on Tuesday #1 photo upload sitesWell big thanks to Inventory1 I'm about to leave Palmy bound for the West Coast Superstock Champs meeting in Whanganui (3pm start) Ahhh... living the dream.

This was behind and after the 34w green car had rolled and was trying to avoid the carnage and missed. Race two and three I was on the trailer.

Even when it happens right in front of them the human recollection is often unreliable, as video evidence of this incident clearly shows. The second witness of the incident got the perpetrator wrong, and doubt is cast over the public standing of an innocent man!! Barry B

I was grid 3 and didn't see the rolled over 34w until we came around on the second lap under yellows.
