Having talked to 17H Neville Hazelton at Kihikihi last night who also has the ex-Peter Church Rover V8 powered Stockcar. He at a recent Huntly meet bolted both the Hoosiers & extractors from his Superstock(which currently has a blown motor)onto his Stockcar, at first glance I thought it was in preparation for the Wanderers however this wasnt to be the case as he was just seeing how the Stockcar would go with those for-mentioned changes.

Jared Wade is trying to get a wanderers team together, I think he and Tony Wooten are trying along with Glen Drabble. To be honest Huntly has the cars this year but they just havent been that much, some havent been out for various reasons. some of our boys are pretty good teams drivers too - but lacking funds and organisation I think. If I was to pick from purely Huntly drivers Id go for this team 85H Jared Wade 71h Tony Wooten 96H Scott Redfern 5H Quinten Hawthorne 46H no idea who this driver is, brand new Van Amsterdam chassis that seems to go good - got some serious pace! Of the eight H cars that have contracted so far in Season 2016/2017, there has only been six that have hit the track.Those being..... 71H Tony Wootton 85H Jared Wade 5H Quinton Hawthorne 86H Kris Allen 157H Jaime Marshall Carter 96H Scott Redfern Of those five just mentioned above, I can only see possibly two maybe three of them committing to the Wanderers. Jared Wade, we all know his intentions have been made clear to try get a team going, as is the same with Wootton. I recall Redfern in a pre season interview on the Doing it in the Dirt radio show, he did mention he would commit however that decision would be made at the car owners's discretion. Kris Allen has teams raced in the past however having just debuted a brand new car, I would doubt the last thing he would want to do is destroy it going teams racing. Quinton Hawthorne, I have no recollection of this guys history, he has only been sighted once this season.Young Jaime Marshall Carter has past teams racing experience with the Raiders, but seat time maybe his downfall he did take time off racing from 2008 and only returning now. For me personally I think to put a team together for Teams Champs 2016 then ring-ins will be needed. Indeed it will be awesome to see a team there. thats a bigger list of drivers than I thought then - however theres also a 46h who raced at rotorua during speedweek. no idea who he/she is though

Anyone know who the 46h superstock is? I have never seen it. It is actually 86H Kris Allen, otherwise known to most as Kris "The Pom". Does anyone have any photos or information about this car? Great to hear another new chassis out and about. Used to run the 4 cylinder mercruiser so cool to hear something diffferent again

I didnt make the connection {I'll admit I sometimes need things spelled out}

It is a pity that the scheduled team race for the Mustangs was rained out and not giving some new faces ago. It is time for a change so my pick would be 971p, 2nz, 3nz, 4p, and 661p. Scott Miers 6th driver and mentor

Surely the Mustangs are Hemi, Dare, Ward, Scott & Adam Joblin?? If you are so sure about that why were they not named at the same time as Panthers. A post from Craige in another thread alluded to the Mustangs and usually he aint to far off the mark.

Would love to see Bruce Harding in there in a superstock tank
