seems strange to me if you lose semi final that you are not driving for 3rd & 4th. Semi final is top 4.

It should be the 2 losing semi-finalists to determine 3rd and 4th. Sort of agree in spirit, but that would mean no point in teams 5-8 being there for second night. Hate points in teams racing, but understand it is a necessary evil. Ages ago it was only the top 4 that made night 2. This way we have 7 teams races on night 2, with 5-8 trying to get to 3rd or 4th to be seeded for next year. Unfortunately if you have a poor result in your semi final (Giants) you can go from group winner on night 1 and finish outside top 4 and not seeded for the following year. Ahhhh the beauty of teams. B4 any one has a go, I was fully on Gizzy side. I was wanting them to take it home, well to Foxton anyway. HAHAHHAHAH

127g ran over the 3 minutes but allowed to still race. Hmm... Set your watch at most meetings when drivers ask for 3 min bell. Im willing to bet that most go well past it . Not only at Palmy but at most tracks.. Another one is pole line cutting , you can go to most tracks and see cars cutting the pole line on a regular basis but nothing is said by officials but they seem to keep that rule up their sleeves for a bias call when it suits.

Many drivers are warned about pole line errors or have a penalty applied. Not every pole line incursion is cheating or worthy of severe punishment. We don't hear about every official action either.

seems strange to me if you lose semi final that you are not driving for 3rd & 4th. Semi final is top 4. It stops the winner of a weaker pool being guaranteed a seeded spot automatically over a team who by luck of the draw finishes second in a far harder pool, we've all seen match ups in the pool stage that are worthy of a final. Think back a couple of years ago to the pool containing both palmy teams & nelson, all 3 had been consistently into the second night for a number of years meaning at least 1 of the other pools would have been easier

I wasnt saying it was cheating or worthy of penalty , just stating that it happens everywhere ..
