Thanx. Some great match ups there. I think the defending champs will be happy with their draw.
Can I take it due to the 13 team format, That the top 8 will go through after Fri night and then a format similiar to Palmy's final night takes place. Therefore only the top four points from Fri can win it, or is it something different. Can't remember how it went last year, other than it taking a while for for the finalists to be announced, and then actually changed due to technical issues with cars.

No, same as last year. Top 8 go to quarter finals, top points scorer races 8th, 2nd vs 7th 3rd vs 6th 4th vs 5th. the 4 race winners go to semi-finals, the 4 losers race for 5th and 6th, 7th and 8th depending on points scored.
So in theory the team finishing night one in 8th place can still win. Much better format in my opinion.

I like the format, but it also means that depth is going to be very important as to win the title, you're going to have to race three times on Saturday night, and win three times. The turnaround times will be reasonably tight, and any team that is relying on one or two star drivers to see them through could be upset.

But that is one of the key issues with a good team ,and makes it so interesting in work and management skills is to keep the team rolling out the gate for the next round of racing Many of teams throughout the years have lost cars and races through the lack of workmanship in the pits ,simply because of cheque book guys in the office so to speak ,with no practical skills out in the field of play . I think at the end who ever wins it will be a good team effort ,and thats what it is all about . .
