For those that didn't snap up the very generous offer of pre purchasing, can tickets be purchased earlier in the day at ticket booths?

For those that didn't snap up the very generous offer of pre purchasing, can tickets be purchased earlier in the day at ticket booths? Gates open at 3:30, so think that is when ticket sales will start. Engine Rebuilders (Grant) is selling them in town, but won't be open on Saturday.

Is only 13 gate passes per team a bit stingey? The Pumas have named 6 drivers so that's 2 passes each plus 1 for the manager. Is this the normal amount of passes given to the guys putting on the show? I would've thought 1 for the driver and 2 crew would've been more appropriate. Just my opinion.

Normal for any other time of the year, yes. Driver and 1 pass, normal. Got invited years ago to Palmy for ministocks future something, we had to pay to get in, my son and I.

Yes its very stingey Go Slideways, try running a team on one crew per car, but a track nearby to you does the same at the biggest meeting of the year I believe.

Just my opinion, and I realise that some drivers in some classes at some tracks do get appearance money, and travel money is often paid at many tracks to cover the cost of competitors traveling to take part, and teams usually get money for the team at the teams champs, and of course there is prize money on offer to win races, but I still think 1 pass for the driver and 1 pass each for 2 crew people instead of just 1 wouldn't break the bank.

Which track are ypu taljing about go sideways? Do that costs the track 150 dollars per team. So about 2k for 13 teams. So it is decent money for a club that aint flush with cash like a few others mentioned above. But thats just my guess. Not fact.

with 6 weeks to go how many teams entered in this the 17/18 season no info on auckland site As you say not long to go. I think having it that early wont help with teams, and all the lead up. This meeting will be here before ya know it. I hope the event gets all the hype it deserves.

still nothing on Auckland site as to how many teams I suppose the good thing about this lack of information spectators can roll up to the gate as late as they can and get a seat anywhere you like so sish let,s keep it a secret so that I don,t have to sit in the sun all arvo
