For #4 this should only apply to tie's for the 8th position. There is little point in teams going on track to risk damage to decide (for instance) who is the 5th or 6th on qualifying night. You're also missing a rule about drivers running their normal numbers

Only four cars per team on track! The extra car per team does make quite a bit of difference. I.E Previously running 5 cars on the track with a reserve

Would say it's done to help get more teams there since the 2015 rule of one bring in. It's easier to get 4 guys from one track rather than 5. With the one bring in rule. See if we get a few more south island teams along. They can't turn teams away enither being a new zealand champs. And if the numbers are true. Wow taking away aucklands biggest strength. Hard to find the race leading car.

Gis ran 5 because of the track. Might be hard to run 5 on WP.

Thought it may be pit space. Agree tho easier to get teams if less numbers are required. Any track should be able to fit ten stocks in a race Tank, even in the hunt or be hunted world of teams racing. Hard for the teams that have 6 regulars, playing rock, paper, scissors to see who stays home or has to go play for the other team

Main reason they ran 5

Rain ruined 1st night in Vegas, both were awesome meetings. Lets have this discussion after Auck with 4 cars on track per team, which was my original point.

Wasn't Rotorua 6 cars per team, 4 on the track? I was thinking the same. Lloydy was head count first day and Bruce was binned for weight 2nd night, so just Kirk for the final race.

Gis ran 5 because of the track. Might be hard to run 5 on WP. the track is 460 meters plus on the pole line.....plenty of space....,4 on 4..the track is already empty during teams racing...crap move

Pit space may be the limitation but it is another limitation drivers and fans alike will bee frustrated over. Sure the promoter has to make this pay yet NZ's biggest city cannot hold and do justice to something other townie tracks have done so rather successfully. appreciate never as a simple statement however I know I would prefer to see 5 cars on the track and it has almost become the norm these days for stockcars.
frustrations with the venue limitations..........
on a positive note, more info coming out of the Park than usual so that I am grateful for the guts and girls pumping out the info

they have used space inside the grassed area next to the track before..they have used their own parking area as pits...how many teams involved?... on a club night they have 25 stocks..the same in ministocks, supersaloons saloons and superstocks plus mods and streeties...its not the size of the pits..why would you run too many classes if you have the NZ stockcar teams at your track??

Was just thinking the same Zit, maybe one other class running each night. The stocks dropped after first night do the all in teams thing that Roto started. 12 teams at 6 cars is 72 pit spots. Does WP not have this on a normal night?
