So it’s the 1st and 2nd place getters in repo that make up a 27 car field for finals . ? Or the ONE winner from repo makes up the 26 final field ...lol

So it’s a 27 car final field ...hard to get 4 place getters out off a 3 car runoff .. ?

There are 24 cars listed as qualified from the first night heats with the final two to being the first two place getters in todays repechage. There are 25 cars listed as qualified for the repechage with the final repechage competitor coming from a three car runoff. The unsuccessful cars in the runoff then take up position in the 2nd tier Championship (effectively replacing the first two place getters in the repechage who progress through into the Championship Division). At least that is the way I interpret it!

To clarify...
The first list is the 24 cars that have made the finals. Marble draw will be done tonight to determine their grids.
The next list is the next 25 on points who make up the repercharge. Their grids are based on points from last night. There is one spot left in the repercharge and 3 cars were on equal points, so they will have a runoff first to determine who will fill the 26th spot for the repercharge. The top 2 cars in the repercharge will then be added to the finals.

Two go up from repechage (correct spelling?)to main final, so two go into the second 26?

Only 5 P cars in the Repecharge, good as 11 in the finals so far is plenty enough haha. Some very big names from across the clubs. Will be one hell of a race at a guess.
Wide open championship if qualifying is to go by. Some quick and clean drivers have found their way through and plenty there who could fly below the radar, as well as the regular front runners and favourites.

Does anyone know what time that repercharge will be run? Don't want to miss it and I presume it will be earlier rather than later?

Unless there's a major upset (trying to think how that could happen) 1 NZ Palmy is looking good again! (Smiley faces disabled at this stage!)

You mean Palmy looking good for 1nz or the putting your neck out and saying Simon Joblin to go back to back? Would be great to see 3 different tracks on the podium this year and not the 1,2,3 domination P currently hold.
How long since a finals night has featured an entire North Island field as this is a distinct possibility also

I did not go yesterday as I was at baypark. What was the crowd like. Will it be full to capacity tonight? Was it a full house last night?

So all qualifiers were told to put cars on the infield and 22 of the qualifiers have been parked on the infield for over 45 mins now but the Miers cars are still sitting in the pits... does anyone know if there is an issue with both their cars or are they just doing what they want?
