How to stop the P - really does it matter? I like to see good solid super stock racing, what the drivers have on the side of their car (or under the bonnet!) makes no difference to me and I guess the majority of fans.
Good hard racing is what I am there for and not some nandy pandy childish stop the P cr@p.
Like if you agree!

Just a question... How many 'P' actually live in Palmy? Does it matter . Do some research at other tracks and see where some of their competitors actually live. It may astound you. My question is Why is ok for other tracks to register out of town drivers but not ok for Palmy ... In the Superstock ranks alone in Rotorua there are 11 registered drivers who dont live in Rotorua. Thats without going through the other classes. How about Huntly

The time to beat them is qualifying. They can't beat you if they're not in the finals. If clubs are serious about it, they really need to agree to sacrifice some of their numbers, those that are unlikely to qualify anyway (especially those that have a qualifying heat 1 dnf) to start making a real nuisance of themselves in Heats 2 & 3 on the first night. But it'll never happen. Everybody is too friendly these days.

That's what confuses me. Some guys don't have a chance quilfing. So heat 1 race 1 go after it. And make the group a dog fight like huntly was at the nz stockcars two seasons back.

Out of the 96 cars entered (I realize not all started) there were 21 P cars. That's 21 P cars and 75 other cars that weren't P cars. In other words, for every 1 P car there was over 3 non P cars. I guess the answer to the question might be as simple as get organised, get together and gang up, but then again, they say 35% of all statistics are false. lol Go the P.

With one DNF you can still qualify for the repechage and therefore potentially still make the final's. Personally whilst the repechage always delivers a great race I would trade it for more action in the four or five, third heats on qualifying night.
