How likely is it that the All Stars will enter a team? If what I've heard is right it's very likely, with drivers from all over the north island, including about as far down the motu as you can get without getting yr feet wet. ok so what gos have you got |

Great to see the All Stars make the call for this one and a new record for the Teams Champs with 14 teams fronting. Particular thanks to Ron Tye and Josh Prentice for putting their hand up to help out the Auckland registered trio. Will be great to see the Blues make the start line and if their performance against the Brits is anything to go by they will be more than making up the numbers.
What a night qualifying night will be with a massive 14 teams races. I'm almost hoping for rain at the Barry Butterworth Memorial so I can stream the teams!

North island select they should re name them Every year there have been teams enter with an outside driver/car and only so they can get their team to the event. Cant recall any of them being called [ Select Team ] since way back when teams did enter under the banner NI Select. So why should Auckland have to do it now. As i said , one more team is a bonus. Cant hear anyone complaining |

Cant hear anyone complaining Select teams are normally selected by the event promoter, if I recall correctly. Mainly to even out team numbers, if needed. 14 Teams is very impressive!! Should add a North Island Select and a South Island Select! 16 teams - 4 groups of 4! :-) Be great to see a ladies Team in the future too! After the Rotorua Ladies Stockcar event its evident there is plenty of good lady drivers out there! And who knows, in the future there could even be an Ashton Anihilators Team, there is certainly enough talent coming through there from ministocks and already in Supers!(Kendall was in the Super a couple of weeks ago too). I think as a family they are already up to 2 Supers and 3 ministocks!! Oh and i forgot the Warlords. |
