Tied on points with Sunshine winning on countback due to superior race wins

Great to have the USAC Sprintcar champion coming to NZ and with Logan Seavey in a commanding lead in the USAC Midget ranks a very good chance we will have both the USAC Sprintcar and USAC Midget champions down under this summer. Not to mention the current Chili Bowl champion as well!

Tomorrow Michael pickens will be racing Bakersfield california in penultimate round 2018 Usac National championship. Driving #67 Kasey Kahne factory midget for Willy kahne. Then next Friday and saturday i think. non winged usac sprintcar #81 for steve watt, then following day kahne midget at famed ventura speedway turkey night Grand prix.

Wow after 6 years of racing for Kasey Kahne racing Daryn Pittman is leaving to race the 83 roth motorsports car.Kasey said he wants to do the woo schedule and can't do 3 cars.A bit sad for Daryn he was getting real fast at the end of this year,will be interesting to see how he goes in the new team

Christopher bell won the Turkey night usac midget feature at Ventura Speedway today and Kyle Larson was 2nd,look forward to seeing these two in nz.

That was Bell's 3rd win since 2014 and definitely be one the favourites in nz, going up against Larson, courteney and pickens.. Thats best drivers ever likely see nz at one time.

speaking of MP he won B main usac 360s. finished 12th A main after starting from 11th.

They are next level those guy's.
The kiwi boys will do well to keep up with them.

Dont entirely agree, Christopher Bell will be strong favourite, wouldnt discount Michael pickens battle the yanks all the feature races. he is normally best of kiwis. does Beat USA Stars on home and away basis

They had two midget features in the dome in St Louis on Friday night,Christopher won the first one and Sunshine won the 2nd,Kyle Larson was 2nd behind Sunshine.
