Barry stock car teams at Rotorua was 5 cars on track 1 reserve car same as at Gisbornewhen they held it , Palmiers and Wellington were also 5 cars. Auckland changed it this year to 4. I stand to be corrected, but I'm pretty sure you're incorrect. I haven't looked back at the website or nzdtr reports, but my memory is telling me 6 cars, 4 on track. Barry B

I've just watched a few videos of the 2015 event on YouTube, including night 1 race 1 (W vs GM) and only 8 cars started each race I saw. Gregobro's report mentions each team only turning up with 5 cars for the final, then lists the two reserves, which means 4 on track. Barry B

Correct Barry, Rotorua was 6 car teams, 4 on track.

Oops I know Gizzy Wellington and Palmie were 5, one reserve. I am the one corrected re Rotorua Sorry.

There's one thing this discussion proves, and that is you cannot please everybody. Barry B I would love to see more teams racing over the consolation racing but I feel the Sunday night show with the BK Supersaloons is awesome. The Grand Parade with the top teams and Saloons was great.
