Probably the wrong thread to post this however im sure if need be it will get moved.
Anyways we know greymouth have a mid week meet Tuesday night between the Nz champs and the Grand Prix at Nelson, my question is does anyone know if there’s an entry list out for this meeting?
Keen to head over, then up to Nelson, a decent entry list would make it even more appealing.

Sorry if this seems a stupid question but quite a few of these names mentioned for Greymouth aren't named to race at either the NZ champs or the grand prix would there be any reason in particular for this?

Could be late entries for the NZs and we won't know what group they are in until Friday, just like in previous years. I'm sure its constantly raised that you can't actually refuse an entry to a NZ Title if the driver has done the 3 meetings and turns up on the day, but I could be wrong.

But you wouldn't want to. As people pull out on the day. You would want as many cars as possible. 85s did it at north islands in wangz. Rang up on the day and asked and was in. So been done before.

The promoter isn't required to accept any entries after the due date. For the NZ Supertocks the nominated due date was 01/01/2018. The relevant rule is M4-7-1 "M4-7-1 Every competitor has the right to enter Allocated Titles, subject to complying with the following conditions: (i) Holding an SNZ competition licence for the applicable class (one day licences are not accepted). (ii) Submitting a completed entry form, by the due date.(iii) Paying the entry fee. (iv) Late Entries: At the discretion of the promoter, and if stated on the entry form, late entries can be accepted and a non-refundable fee of $50 can be charged. (iv) Notifying their own Promoter of their intention to compete at least 14 days prior to the event. (v) Obtaining a clearance from their own Promoter." Looking through the names entered for Greymouth but not the NZ title, the common thread is that they were all drivers who originally intended to travel south but are no longing doing so (blown engines, work commitments etc.). So they are more likely to be late withdrawals for GM, than late entries for the NZ's.

The concept of teaming a youth ministock driver with a superstock driver for a best pairs competition in their respective classes is something new, could lead to some superstocks based out of the coast in the years to come
